Animal Expert Witness Service specialises in supporting the legal profession in animal related litigation matters. Our list of experts are consultants who have developed expertise either by virtue of further study or pursuing a particular narrow field. Behaviour, medicine, surgery, etc. Some of our experts have many years of court experience. We have sometimes been challenged to find experts for some unusual species and some unusual matters. Our network of contacts extends throughout Australia and beyond, to New Zealand, the USA and Europe. Occasionally, we cannot use experts in Australia because they have a conflict of interest. In this situation we call upon our overseas network of experts. Solicitors are sometimes surprised that an overseas expert is not more expensive. We can thank advances in technology to allow us to conduct conferences by Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.  Sometimes the expert will give their evidence if the matter goes to court via these teleconferencing facilities.

We deal with all animal species - e.g. Horses, Dogs, Dairy Cattle, Alpacas, Sheep, Beef Cattle, Goats, Pigs, Laboratory Animals, and Cats.

Sometimes our experts get involved in helping an organisation with occupational health and safety, disease control, enterprise profitability, etc.
The following is a small sample of the experts provided by our service:
